Two Sisters Become Youngest Owners Of A Beauty Supply

teen-girls-open-beauty-supply_336x397_3Black women are currently the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in America, with a 322% rise in businesses owned by black women in less than 20 years, it’s not hard to see why. 19-year old Kayla and 21-year old Keonna Davis opened up KD Hair Supply in March to celebrate and service natural hair and weave hair clients in Moreno Valley, California. Reportedly the sisters were concerned about the lack of beauty supply store owners who looked like them and wanted to create a change.

So far they’ve received an overwhelming amount of support from the local and nationwide community. They even take online orders if you don’t live in or around Moreno Valley! This is most certainly a highlight of today. We salute these two young women for opening up their own business and bringing beauty and brains together again.
